Our pool party and patio party packages at The Peak Health Aquatic Center and the sports party packages at The Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center are the perfect way to plan a fun and memorable event for your child and their friends.  Parties are booked on a first come first serve basis.  Package details are listed below.

Parties include pool/court time and a place for your child and their friends to eat. Birthday parties at Mylan Park are a great way to celebrate and recreate at the same time!

AQUATIC BIRTHDAY PARTIES FAQS

What food am I allowed to bring?
All food is allowed into the Birthday Party room, NO glass or alcoholic beverages are permitted in the facility.
How early can I come set up for the party?
You will have access to your room 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. You will also have 15 minutes after the party ends to tear down. Please have your guests leave at the end of the party promptly to allow for time for take down. Our custodial staff will enter the room 15 minutes after party ends to clean for the next event.
Do you provide any decorations? May I bring my own?
We do not provide any decorations however you may bring your own! We simply ask that those decorations can be set up and taken down in 15 minutes. Please no silly string or other sticky substances! You may post things using tape that can be easily removed. Please nothing on the DRYWALL, you may put decorations on the stone walls but not on the drywall! We cannot provide tape or other supplies for decorations. NO CONFETTI, GLITTER, or PINATAS!!!! Parties with banned items may be subject to additional cleaning fees, at the manager’s discretion.
What if I need to cancel my party?
You may request to reschedule your party up to one week before the reservation date. If you must cancel within one week of the event date, no refund will be issued. If extenuating circumstances arise refunds & rescheduling will be at the discretion of the Building Operations Manager, Janice Tennant 304-933-9735.
How many tables and chairs are provided?
Based on your specific party, we have allotted 6 6ft long tables for food and presents, along with 40- 50 chairs for your party
Can we stay after the party and swim?
You are allowed to stay and swim after your party provided you purchase a guest pass ($7) for those swimming after the birthday party.
Do we need to clean up the room after our party?
We ask that you clean off the tables, floors and walls as best you can before exiting the party room. We have a custodial staff that will take care of the trash cans and minor clean up. Per the manager’s discretion, a cleaning fee may be applied to your party.
What happens if there is an incident in the pool?
In the even that there is an incident in the pool that would require a pool closure, refunds will be decided by the Assistant Director of operations and based on the allotted time remaining for your party for access to the pool. As a reminder, all parties are only allotted the 1st hours of their party within the pool
  • No food is permitted in the pool or surrounding areas.
  • Tables and chairs are included.
  • A refrigerator and freezer are available for use during rental time UPON REQUEST
  • The party room may be decorated with any non-permanent fixtures. Please bring tape, lighters, and other tools you might need. Silly string is prohibited.
  • There will be 15 minutes allotted at the beginning of the party for set-up and at the end to allow time to properly dispose of all trash and return the room to its pre-party condition.
  • Parents and participants should be aware of all pool rules before entering the pool area.
  • Children who are not yet toilet trained must wear a reusable or disposable diaper; no regular diapers are permitted in the pool.
  • Must follow party rules and The Aquatic Center’s facility
  • AFTER BOOKING, you have 14 days to cancel or change your rental to avoid fees and penalties
  • A confirmation email will be sent after booking a party
  • A NON-REFUNDABLE security deposit of $150 is required for party rentals
  • A NON-REFUNDABLE security deposit of $250 is required for exclusive party rentals
  • Final payment is due (2) weeks before the date of the event to the front desk at The Aquatics Center & Track Complex at Mylan Park or can be made over the phone.
  • (Cash, Card, or Check are acceptable forms of payment. Check payments are to be made to ‘Mylan Park Properties’
  • Canceling any party at any time after the 14-day grace period will require the party host to reschedule their party for a later time and pay a rebooking fee of $150
  • No Running on the Pool Deck.
  • Do not drink the pool water.
  • Do not urinate, defecate, spit, spout water, or blow your nose in the water, and please shower before entering the pool.
  • No open sores or infectious disease spreadable by water is admitted.
  • Individuals under the influence of drugs, or alcohol, or exhibit disruptive behavior are not permitted in the pool.
  • No glass containers.
  • No food, drink, gum, or tobacco products are admitted into the pool area.
  • Diving from the deck area is permitted only in areas where water is more than 5 feet in depth.
  • All incidents and injuries must be reported to a lifeguard immediately.
  • Children 8 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult of 16 years of age or older.

Green Slide Height Requirement: 48 inches unassisted children under 48 inches can ride on an adult’s lap

Blue Slide Height Requirement: minimum of 54 inches

 

  • Riders must go down feet first.
  • Landing area must be clear before proceeding.
  • No metal objects including buckles, grommets, rings, zippers, etc.
  • Riders must follow the directions of the slide attendant at all times.
  • All riders must observe the safe riding requirements posted.
  • Riders are not permitted to propel themselves into the ride.
  • Blue Slide: One rider is allowed on the slide at a time, no floatation devices are permitted.
  • Green Slide: Multiple riders need to sit side by side on each flume, or children sit on an adult’s lap, life jackets are permitted.

Pool Party with Mini Party Room

$225 for non-members | $175 for members

  • 1-Hour of swimming for up to 15 party-goers
  • 2-hour party room rental

  • 15-minute setup and takedown time allotted before and after the party

Saturdays & Sundays:

  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Pool Party with Large Party Room

$300 for non-members | $250 for members

This Party Packages Include:
  • Large Party Room that holds up to 50 people max
  • 1-Hour of swimming for up to 20 party-goers
  • 2-hour party room rental
  • Tables & chairs
  • 15-minute setup and takedown time allotted before and after the party
Large Party Room Time Slots:

  • 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
  • 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Saturdays & Sundays:

  • 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Seasonal Patio Parties

$350 for non-members | $300 for members

Seasonal patio parties are available from the end of May until the beginning of September when The Outdoor Splash Pad is open.

Patio Party Packages Include:

  • 2-hour patio tent rental

  • 15-minute setup and takedown time allotted before and after the party

Exclusive Parties at The Aquatic Center

$800 for non-members | $700 for members

Add Patio Tent for an additional $130

Need to throw a party for more than 50 people? Consider our Exclusive Pool Party Package. This after-hour party package included full-multipurpose room rental for two hours, allowing participants to come and go at will. As well as, one and a half hours in The Huntington Community Pool, closed off exclusively for your group’s use. Exclusive Parties must be booked a month in advance.

Parties at The Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center Sports Complex

Throw a birthday party at the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center. Just choose one sport or mix it up. We have Basketball, Kickball, Indoor Soccer, Pickleball, Indoor Football, Volleyball and more. Plus, take advantage of our new bouncy house!

Ultimate Birthday Party Package with Bounce House:

Duration: 3-hour block (including 30 minutes setup and 30 minutes cleanup)

  • Party Time: 2 hours of non-stop bouncing fun!
  • Price: $350.00

What’s Included:

  • Commercial Bounce House: Endless entertainment for kids under staff supervision
  • Party Room: A spacious room with tables and chairs, perfect for cake, snacks, and presents.
  • Guests: Price includes up to 12 children. Additional children can join the fun for just $10 each.

Key Details:

  • Supervision: One dedicated staff member will be present to supervise the bounce house, ensuring your child’s safety and enjoyment.
  • Setup & Cleanup: Enjoy a hassle-free experience with 30 minutes allocated for setup and another 30 minutes for cleanup.
