Howard Hanna and MVB Bank Partner with Mylan Park Properties

MORGANTOWN, WV (July 5, 2022) – If you have visited The Aquatic Center & Track Complex at Mylan Park recently, you might have noticed new signage enhancing your drive-up or your walk-through to the pools and locker rooms.

As part of its overall mission, Mylan Park Properties continues to seek partnerships with area businesses and leaders which helps support beautifying park facilities while providing safe, clean, and affordable family-friendly experiences.

Barbara Alexander McKinney, Broker/Owner at Howard Hanna Premier Properties, is no stranger to supporting the community in her hometown of Morgantown, WV. With strong family ties and a successful career in real estate, Barbara leads by example through her support of YCF, WV Botanic Gardens, Pantry Plus More, WVU Children’s Hospital, WVU Cancer Institute, On Eagle’s Wings and Holy Pursuit/Dream Foundation just to name a few. “These organizations [mission] either touch my heart, or I connect with them,” says McKinney regarding her strong community philanthropic endeavors. “There’s so much in our community that needs our support. I came from a family of giving; parents and grandparents always helped and gave,” McKinney reminisced. “It’s how they were taught. And I believe in giving back, if you cannot give money, always consider giving your time and talent.”

In addition to Barbara’s support, Mylan Park Properties unveiled a new selfie/check-in art installation as you pass through the main entrance of The Aquatic Center. Commissioned by MVB Bank and designed by local artist Beth Keener-Flanery, the “Find Your Wings” mural was recently installed through a partnership with Primo Signs of Morgantown, WV.

Visitors to The Aquatic Center are encouraged to snap their photo with the water wings to share with family and friends on their social media pages and as keepsakes in photo albums and memory books. “MVB Bank is pleased to be a sponsor for this mural project. We appreciate the positive impact of visual art in public spaces and value what The Aquatic Center offers to residents of Morgantown and beyond. At MVB, we are committed to the success of our clients and communities,” said Don Robinson, President and Chief Financial Officer, MVB Financial Corp.
