Intro to Soccer
Introduce your little athlete to the game with Intro to Soccer at Mylan Park in Morgantown, WV! Designed for children ages 3–5, this fun and engaging youth soccer program helps young players build fundamental soccer skills through age-appropriate games, activities, and imaginative play. Kids will develop coordination, balance, listening skills, and confidence while learning the basics of dribbling, kicking, and ball control. Our beginner soccer classes for preschoolers focus on staying active, having fun, and building a love for the game in a positive and supportive environment at Mylan Park, Morgantown’s destination for youth sports and recreation.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Class Location: Peak Health Aquatic Center & Track Complex
- Day of the Week: Sundays (except holidays)
- Time: 9:00am- 10:00am
- Ages:3-5
- PRE-REQUISITES: None

Whether your child is trying soccer for the first time or just getting comfortable with the basics, this class is all about learning, growing, and having fun!
Registration
- No spaces in any class are guaranteed without payment, as full payments are due at the time of registration. All registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Minimum of three children per class. If fewer than three are signed up after the third week, you will be required to choose another time or a refund if the class is canceled.
- A waiver must be completed before stepping onto the field.
Refund Policy
- Refunds will ONLY be given if a class has been canceled.
- Refunds are not issued due to missed classes. If a child stops coming, a credit to the may be issued, pending approval.
Parents and Guardians
Classes are not drop-off, a parent/guardian must be on-site during the class.
Behavior
Dangerous, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviors will be dealt with case-by-case and could result in the loss of the privilege to participate. No refunds or credits will be issued if your child cannot participate due to negative behaviors.
Transfers
Transfers within the same age group are permitted at any point in the session. All class transfers are dependent upon space availability.
Make-up Classes
Make-ups are done on a space-available basis. Make-ups do not carry over into the next session. No refunds will be given for missed classes.
- Participants should wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. Cleats are not permitted.
- Bring a water bottle labeled with your child’s name.
