March 19 – COVID-19 Response Closure

Effective March 19, 2020, pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order issued on March 18, 2020, all Mylan Park operated facilities will be closed to the public for a period of at least two weeks.

  • Aquatic Center
  • Anker Fields Complex
  • Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center
  • Lower Park Pavilion
  • Monongalia Extension Services & 4-H Center
  • Track & Field Complex
  • Turf Athletic Fields

All Mylan Park programs have been temporarily postponed.  We will reschedule and resume programing as soon as it is safe to do so.   This includes all indoor aquatic and outdoor sport programs registered through Mylan Park.  All reschedules will be communicated directly to program participants when more guidance is available.

Staff will be closely monitoring the situation to determine when we are able to return to modified or full operations. Monthly and Annual memberships will be frozen effective March 19, 2020 and expiration dates will be automatically extended for a period equal to the time of the full closure.  Guest pass sales and guest access will only resume once we have returned to full operations; any periods of return to modified operations will remain as Member only access.

Mylan Park is committed to the reschedule of all rentals and events scheduled in our facilities.  All renters will be contacted by our staff concerning future availability and reschedules.  We are not currently taking requests for new rentals with dates prior to May 10, 2020.

The health and well-being of our community and staff is our utmost priority and we look forward to returning to regular business as soon as it is safe to do so.

If you have additional questions, please contact us at or (304) 933 – AQUA and we will be happy to provide additional up-to-date information. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and look forward to having the opportunity to serve you again soon.
